We're thrilled to welcome Tinney's Apollo as herd sire and eager to meet his first group of Chateau calves in 2026. Apollo and young Hugh are exemplifying downtime with leisure activities like apple eating, getting filthy and growing winter coats.

Special thanks to Corey & Esther Read of Shupp Hill Farms, for bringing Apollo to the East coast and providing a happy home with your beautiful herd for the past couple of years!

Tinney's Apollo

This red bull is dashing. His frame is long, deep and packed with muscle. His temperament is calm and he's easy to handle. His feet and legs are rock solid. The strength of his breeding is evidenced by the high-quality offspring he's produced with cows from a wide variety of bloodlines. We're looking forward to a gorgeous group of babies in June!

Apollo is homozygous polled, A2/A2, is PHA- and chondrodysplasia free, and carries two copies of dun.

SK Hugh de Chateau

Born during a blizzard, Hugh is an 1,100lb nugget with perfect proportions. We're enjoying his personality while he contemplates adding weight and inches to compare with Apollo. Hugh is homozygous polled, A2/A2, is PHA- and chondrodysplasia free, and has a stunning example of a red coat courtesy of his E+/e genetics.
